So, Maija Isola designed Unikko to be an abstraction of a flower rather than a photorealistic rendition. Today, Unikko is a powerful emblem of joy and creativity, seamlessly integrated into Marimekko´s design identity.

 The Vuolle organic cotton poplin dress has a relaxed, straight fit, and it features the embroidered Mini Unikko pattern. The dress has an open O-neck and short sleeves that are dropped at the shoulders and have gathers at the sleeve caps. The side seams are brought to the front piece and they have pockets. There is a yoke seam in the back.
