Innovation Living is a Danish company specialising in designer convertible sofas, renowned the world over for its expertise and the quality of its products.Â
The Innovation Living collection presented here embodies Scandinavian design through sofa beds and convertible armchairs that combine innovation, comfort and contemporary aesthetics. Founded in 1971 by Flemming Højfeldt, this Danish brand excels in creating multifunctional furniture that is perfect for optimising space while remaining elegant.
Born in the effervescence of the 1970s with the production of poufs, Innovation Living drew on Scandinavian tradition to evolve into stylish sofa beds. Collaborating with renowned designers such as Verner Panton and Per Weiss, the brand has won numerous awards for its creations. Based in Denmark, it offers functional and sustainable furniture, manufactured in Europe and Asia according to strict ethical standards, including the amfori BSCI code of conduct.
The Innovation Living range focuses on convertible sofas and armchairs, designed to maximise space while offering comfort and style. Each piece reflects a balance between practicality and Scandinavian design. Here are the main creations:
Cubed: The brand's most compact sofa bed, with a solid oak base and a vintage look. Available in armchair and sofa versions, it folds out into a bed (90 x 200 cm for one person, 140/160 x 200 cm for two) and includes storage for bedding. Its No-zag spring mattresses ensure uniform comfort.
Newilla: A modular sofa bed with spacious storage under the seat and removable, washable covers. Convertible into a double bed (145 x 200 cm), it is ideal for living rooms or secondary rooms, with a chaise longue option.
Conlix: With its minimalist lines, this convertible sofa converts into a double bed (140 x 200 cm) thanks to a simple extension system. Its removable and washable covers make it suitable for families with children or pets.
Dublexo: A modular system that can be converted into a sofa, chaise longue or bed (115 x 210 cm). Available in five versions, including Frej with wooden armrests and Eik with oak legs, it offers infinite flexibility.
Vogan: Designed by Oliver and Lukas WeissKrogh, this sofa with adjustable seat and rear oak shelf converts into a bed (120 x 200 cm). Its pocket springs guarantee lasting comfort.
Malloy: A family sofa with soft cushions and built-in storage, convertible into a double bed (150 x 200 cm). Options such as oak armrests or a pouffe for a chaise longue add versatility.
Innovation Living uses robust materials such as lacquered oak, matt steel and durable fabrics, often recycled, such as looped polyester (Martindale 27,000–36,000). Removable, washable covers extend the life of the furniture. The brand is committed to eco-friendly practices, with regular audits of its production sites to ensure ethical working conditions. Each piece comes with a 5-year warranty, underlining its durability.
Innovation Living furniture fits into a variety of decors, from Nordic minimalism to modern spaces. Cubed and Dublexo add a subtle vintage touch, while Newilla and Vogan appeal with their modularity. Conlix and Malloy are ideal for families thanks to their sturdiness and practicality. These pieces optimise space while adding functional elegance.
