The Atmosfera collection of outdoor teak tables has been designed to complement Gubi's historic outdoor furniture, such as the Gascoin and Pacha chairs.
The aesthetic is simple, the details meticulous. The tops are made of top-quality solid teak slats, surrounded by a sturdy frame with minimalist lines. The legs form inverted angles with a mitre joint. Each leg projects slightly beyond the surface of the tabletop and ends in a rounded detail.
The dining table comes in two sizes, one for six people and the other for eight. Its generous legroom makes it a perfect match for the outdoor versions of the C chair, the Beetle and Bat chairs and the Tropique chair.
The coffee table is the ideal outdoor partner for the Pacha collection, and is large enough for an informal aperitif.
Teak's tight grain makes it an excellent wood for furniture. It is also rich in natural oils, making it naturally weather-resistant. Teak is polished, allowing the wood's natural oils to rise to the surface, and burnished to produce a uniform colour.
Tables can be left outside, uncovered and untreated, all year round. Over time, they will take on a beautiful, uniform silver-grey patina, with a characteristic slightly raised texture. For those who wish to preserve the golden tones of the wood, an annual application of an oil or sealant is a simple solution.
The Atmosfera collection uses only SVLK-certified plantation teak, which guarantees biodiversity, sustainable forestry practices and additional economic benefits for the local economy.

OEO Studio
Designer and creative director Thomas Lykke (b. 1971) trained as a fashion designer in Copenhagen and San Francisco before turning to the design industry where he worked as an interiors editor at Wallpaper Magazine from 2000 in 2003 before setting up his own agency, OEO Studio, in Copenhagen in 2003.
