Introduced with new exclusive materials, the Egg and Swan lounge chairs create beautiful living spaces. Timeless icons, the two emblematic chairs of Arne Jacobsen have a black PVD base and two exclusive upholsteries: Vanir, a woolen fabric by Raf Simons, and Grace, an aniline leather with a unique color.
Designed in 1956, the PK61 coffee table is one of Poul Kjærholm's most iconic designs. The anniversary edition of this minimalist table features a new marble from Norway, close to the Arctic Circle. Rare but present in a few important monuments like the Danish National Bank and the Design Museum of Denmark, it sparkles as if encrusted with shards of diamonds and gold.
Designed in 1955 and 1968 respectively, the Series 7 and Lily chairs deserve their place in the anniversary collection. The Series 7 is proposed in a walnut version with front upholstery, upholstered in the all-new chestnut Grace leather or the new Vanir fabric designed by Raf Simons for Kvadrat. The Lily model is presented in a fully upholstered version with the same new exclusive brown Grace leather.
The Grace aniline leather upholstery comes in an all-new colour: a dark brown with a distinctive chestnut hue. It goes without saying that the tactile experience is out of the ordinary. Grace is a leather that acquires a beautiful natural patina over time, depending on light, conditions and use.
The Vanir fabric was designed by internationally renowned designer Raf Simons for Kvadrat. It is a woolen fabric inspired by historical military jackets, but extremely soft. Its pattern results from the use of different colors in the warp and weft. It is presented in preview on the pieces of the anniversary collection and available exclusively at Fritz Hansen for 2022.
