HITI lamp
Philip Bro & Dögg Guðmundsdóttir

The Hiti lamp is the result of the new collaboration between designers Philip Bro and Dögg Guðmundsdóttir. Together they imagined the U1, U2 and U3 pendants, the U4 table lamp and the U5 lamp.

The lighting pieces share common characteristic features, a shade with a slightly flattened round shape, and a walnut detail for the pendants and a walnut structure for the table lamps and the lamp post.

The Hiti series was added to the new collection of FDB Møbler and brought about a modern expression without denying tradition. The two designers turned to the FDB Møbler archive. Among these archives they were inspired by the famous J46 chair of 1946 imagined by M.Volther.

Whether the lamps are associated or that they exist on their own in a space, they will be elegantly integrated in all types of interiors.

Philip Bro & Dögg Guðmundsdóttir

Philip Bro was born in Australia but has lived in Denmark most of his life. With a playful and unconventional approach to Danish design, he has worked with some of the most well-known Danish design brands.

As for Dögg Guðmundsdóttir she was born and raised in Iceland, her designs are remarkable and have a distinct Icelandic touch, but she also interpreted in her own way the danish design tradition.

Together, they created the Hiti series, which is FDB Møbler’s first lamps series of the new era.
