The Boderne Display Cabinets and wall cabinets by designer Rasmus Appel, who trained as an industrial designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture, is inspired by shipbuilding and oak canoes, known for their proportions, construction and refined joints. All wood used is FSC certified.

Rasmus Appel
Rasmus Appel is an industrial designer who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy, section architecture. He is very interested in how the living, organic properties of wood are transformed into furniture in a contemporary context. The result is often slightly surprising, such as the "Hug" furniture he designed for the "Skud pĂĄ Stammen" exhibition at Industriens Hus in 2018, which received a very favorable review from the Politiken newspaper.
For his first commission for FDB Møbler, he embarked on the design of a glass cabinet. Rasmus Appel grew up in Bornholm, and as an islander, he has an innate understanding of simplicity and the important things in life
