Sofie Refer designed Bulb in 2000, a pendant lamp with a mouth-blown glass shade, a porcelain socket and a transparent wire which became an instant success. Her big sister, the Mega Bulb, appeared in 2006 and has been a success just as fast. All these are now available in different versions of wire: wrapped with black or white textile or in PVC clear. The Silver and Gold Mega Bulbs complete the collection.

Sofie Refer believes that lighting is the most crucial and powerful aspect of any environment. Soon after graduating from Denmark's Design School in 2003, she opened her Copenhagen-based lighting design and production company Refer + Staer, where she is Partner and Creative Director. Her simple, streamlined designs have garnered her numerous awards, appearing in the private and commercial sector, such as restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and city councils worldwide.

We compare our prices every day with all authorized retailers in Europe. If nevertheless you find cheaper, contact us for a counter-proposal.
