The Alima Trolley is a storage unit that takes on the challenge of "creative chaos" inherent in working from home. You use it to store books, magazines, drawings, bottles, glasses and various objects. The top shelf is distinguished by its integrated V-shape which makes it easy to store and display stacked books: doesn't the word Alima (of Arabic origin) mean scholar or sage?

The very graphic frame is chrome or matte black is softened by the handle covered in natural leather. The removable wooden tray is in oak or walnut. Its wheeled feet ensure easy manoeuvrability, allowing the trolley to be used in multiple ways in an interior, whether that’s displayed as a side table or used as a storage piece under a desk.

"The Alima is the perfect place to collect your inspiration - the books, the magazines, the objects that give you energy right now," says Kristoffer Fagerström of Note Design Studio. "You can roll it under your worktable in the home workshop so it's accessible in an ongoing project, or use it in the living room as a casual display area for personal items and interesting books." »

Note Design Studio

Established in Stockholm in 2008, the Note Design Studio collective is interested in all fields of design, from architecture to interiors and product design.

Note Design Studio was founded by Johannes Carlström and Cristiano Pigazzini. With each new venture, the duo draws on the full spectrum of creative talent – from graphic designers and product designers to architects – to ensure cross-pollination of ideas across disciplines. This unconventional approach translates into diverse designs that stand out for their element of the unexpected.

As a multidisciplinary studio, Note Design Studio avoids a clear visual identity. Functionality, however, is at the heart of every creation. In order to find the right expression, proportions and materials for each piece, it is imagined in a variety of settings and used for a range of needs. This deep commitment to function is reinforced by subtle details that transform an everyday design into something exceptional.

The studio has been awarded for its ability to design tactile objects and spaces that engage the senses and arouse real emotion.
