The Tree Coat Stand is a dreamlike tree, at the limit of the fantastic. The designers Michael Young and Katrin Olina have imagined that each branch can accommodate coats, jackets, bags, hats ... It exists in 2 versions – floor standing and wall-mounted –, in 2 dimensions – height 134cm and 194cm – and in several finishes. It will find its place in a multitude of interiors, from an entrance hall to an adult or even a child's bedroom.

Material MDF lacquered or oak veneer MDF coated.

The floor standing version has a metal weighted foot.

Michael Young & Katrin Olina are a duo who designed the Tree coat rack in 2001 for 100% Design in London. In 2003 production of the Tree Coat hanger was taken over by Swedese and is still made today, and it has become a true icon for the company.

Born in Britain and residing in Hong Kong, Michael Young is an internationally renowned designer driven by a passionate interest in technological development and mass industry. And to constantly question human typologies and habits.
