Fogia was founded in 1981 by Hans Rosander and Lars Fritzell and was originally called A.B.G - Trading. The duo had developed an innovative method of assembling sheets of Plexiglas to create striking tables and storage units. The company then expanded to produce other furniture, changing its name to Fogia Collection in 1986.
Fogia's reputation grew rapidly, enabling the brand to receive numerous orders for contracts and public spaces while developing a large network of distributors in Scandinavia.
Fogia integrated environmental concerns early on in its history. The wood used comes from forests close to the factory, and all materials are sourced in such a way as to minimize transport.
Today, Fogia sets the tone and rhythm of Swedish design with modern icons like Tiki and Bollo, which are changing the shape and expression of Nordic design.
