Petite Friture initiates a new collaboration with the Milanese women's duo, Arianna Lelli Mami & Chiara di Pinto, of Studiopepe, who have come up with an original system of curved, modular LED light tubes.
The tubes are available as pendants and wall lights, and can be combined endlessly. Each element can be assembled to replicate light patterns as required, vertically or horizontally.Β
The collection's technical virtuosity culminates in an impressive 2-meter chandelier.Β

Studiopepe
Founded in Milan in 2006, Studiopepe is a design and architecture agency made up of Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto.
Although Arianna and Chiara are both graduates of Milan's prestigious Politecnico institute, they met far from the school benches, on a Mexican beach. Back from vacation, mutually convinced of their acquaintance, they set up Studiopepe, in reference to Guglielmo Pepe, an Italian general who played a key role in the Risorgimento, and who incidentally bears the name of the street where they first settled.Β
Ariana Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto's expertise is complementary. Their backgrounds in interior design and architecture for the former and industrial fine arts for the latter complement each other. Their respective approaches enable them to approach each project from a multidisciplinary angle.
Their vision is based on experimentation, working with bold colors and materials. The importance they attach to detail and the emotion it arouses are fundamental to each of their projects and are their hallmark.
Studiopepe is renowned for its work on international retail, hotel and residential projects. To bring them to fruition, Ariana and Chiara are surrounded by a team of 15 professionals made up of architects, interior decorators and product designers.
In 2018, at the Salone del Mobile, they presented a singular project, "Club Unseen"; an experiential space within a former 19th-century warehouse. It was in this poetic setting, with its strong identity, that AmΓ©lie du Passage, founder and artistic director of Petite Friture noticed a luminous, spectacular installation full of promise.Β
From this intuitive and optimistic encounter, the Unseen collection was born in 2020.
