Relate is a sophisticated twill weave upholstery textile designed by Patricia Urquiola and made from Trevira CS (Trevira CS fire retardant fabrics meet strict international fire safety standards), whose soft hand is reminiscent of natural fibres.
Relate's versatile palette includes 35 colours and expresses safe colour combinations by combining warm notes with close shades.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola studied architecture and design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Technical University of Madrid) and completed her studies at the Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated under Achille Castiglioni.
In Spain, she was awarded the Gold Medal for Artistic Merits and the Cross of the Order of Isabel the Catholic. In 2001, Patricia Urquiola founded her own studio where she specialises in industrial product design, architecture, art direction and strategy consulting.
Creative Director of Cassina since 2015, she works with a list of leading design companies. Patricia Urquiola also lectures at leading universities and her work is exhibited in leading museums and design galleries around the world.
In 2010 she designed, in collaboration with Giulio Ridolfo, The Dwelling Lab, a spectacular installation for Kvadrat and BMW. The installation was presented at the Salone del Mobile 2010.
