TAMOTO Bed
Shane Schneck

TAMOTO Bed Shane Schneck

The Tamoto bed was designed by Shane Schneck with modularity in mind, to easily adapt it to the plurality of modern spaces.

In love with Japan and its art of living, Schneck was inspired by the draping of kimono sleeves to design the headboard. Its plush drape balances the rigor of the generously sized steel tube frame, creating a comfortable bed-sofa hybrid for sleeping, reading, watching movies and other activities.

Flat packed, the Tamato bed is easy to take home and simple to assemble. It is available in a wide variety of sizes and fabrics to adapt it to all bedroom styles.

Hay recommends using standard bed slats and standard mattresses for the best complete solution. Finally, note that Tamato uses recyclable materials.

His work has received international recognition, winning Red Dot, iF and Wallpaper design awards. His design ethos is to create simple yet innovative products that challenge industry standards.
