Featuring a five-star base with castors, the AAC252 chair combines optimum functionality with a modern aesthetic. The base has a gas-lift mechanism for adjusting the height of the seat. It is available in polished aluminium and powder-coated black. The post-consumer recycled plastic shell is available in a wide range of colours.Â
Taking up the basic idea of the AAC family, the AAC252 chair features a curved shell with a slightly higher back. AAC253 balances the high functionality and modern expression of the five-legged castor base with the softness of the upholstered shell.
Designed with functionality in mind, the shell structure offers a deep, generous seat that combines a welcoming aesthetic with a high level of comfort, while the lower armrests provide good support and allow the chair to fit under a table or desk. The multitude of design variants and combinations gives this series great versatility in a wide range of corporate, public and private contexts.

Hee Welling
Hee Welling is a Danish furniture designer who founded his own studio in Copenhagen in 2003. Welling has received a number of design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award (Denmark), Good Design Award (USA) and has been nominated as the Danish designer of the year in both 2013 and 2014.
Welling is the son of a cabinetmaker, and his fascination with production techniques, materials and machinery was fired as a child. He went on to study at The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, and received his master’s degree in furniture design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (where he is also now a design tutor).
His design ethos is centered around the idea of creating technically accomplished products that can reach a wide audience. His work is characterized by a great sense of proportion and quietly elegant looks.Â
