Checks, along with stripes, have always been an integral part of the world of Marimekko patterns. Annika Rimala, too, designed several distinct check prints, like Iso ruutu (large check), during her career with Marimekko.

The Nummi tunic is made of a cotton and linen blend in the Iso Ruutu pattern. The loose fitting tunic has a concealed button list in the front and cropped sleeves, which are dropped at the shoulders and have elastic gathered sleeve ends. The hemline features rounded side slits and the tunic comes with a separate belt.

The Tulus trousers are made of a cotton and linen blend in the Iso Ruutu pattern. The trousers have a wide elastic waistband, which includes an additional adjustable elastic cord with a lock. The trousers feature slanted side pockets with topstitched edges, patch pockets in the back, and wide, cropped trouser legs.
