The Colour Block Blankets by Hella Jongerius play on the colour scheme of the warp and weft threads. The 4 contrasting colour blocks that form the decorative pattern are created by playing on the tone variation of hues. The Colour Block blankets are made of wool from a hybrid breed of sheep from the Peruvian highland: Merino (for softness) / Corriedale (for strength).
