Design and Inspiration
• Industrial style: Inspired by Marcel Duchamp's concept of the “ready-made”, Toio uses everyday objects in unexpected ways. His diffuser, for example, is designed to resemble a car headlight, giving it a unique, bold look.
• Functional minimalism: The Castiglioni have favored a streamlined approach, where each component has a precise function. The transformer, visible at the base, also acts as a counterweight to stabilize the lamp.
