The Matin collection, designed in 2019 by Inga Sempé for HAY, is a series of elegant and poetic luminaires, characterized by its minimalist design and warm ambience. The collection includes pendant, wall and ceiling lights. Matin table lamps are distinguished by their balance between physical robustness and visual delicacy, perfect for a desk, bedside table or living room.
Manufactured with a pleated cotton shade laminated onto a PVC sheet and mounted on a bent steel wire structure finished in polished brass and matte black details or with a mirror finish, they diffuse a soft, downward-facing light, ideal for reading or creating a cosy ambience.
Available in two sizes - Small (H 38 cm x Ø 30 cm) and Large (H 52 cm x Ø 38 cm) - and in a range of vibrant or sober colors, Matin table lamps can be adapted to a variety of settings. Equipped with an integrated dimmable LED source (5W, 2800K, 150lm), they feature an in-line dimmer to adjust light intensity. The black silicone cable (200 cm) adds a contemporary touch.
Tested by the Danish Technological Institute, they use sustainable materials such as recycled cotton, reflecting HAY's commitment to the environment.
