Valkea Yö 820 cotton fabric - Marimekko

 This cotton fabric features the Valkea Yö pattern, which is printed in Helsinki.

Fabric is 100% organic cotton.

Printing large-print fabrics using the flatbed method leaves a repeat line at the edge of the pattern, and the prominence of this line depends on the fabric´s colour and pattern. The repeat line is not a flaw but a feature of the printing technique that can also be used as an effect.

Fujiwo Ishimoto´s 1982 Valkea yö (white night) pattern shows the moon revealing stunning details of nature.

Care instruction  Follow the washing temperature given. Shrinkage max. 4%. Wash with like colours.
