The Gubi Dining Table – Elliptical seduces with its refined silhouette, where a softly contoured top rests on delicately curved legs, evoking natural harmony. Measuring 230 cm long, 120 cm wide and 73 cm high, it comfortably seats 8 to 10 people, perfect for lively meals or professional meetings. Made with a 22 mm MDF top covered in semi-matt varnish veneer, and laminated wood legs, the table combines sturdiness and visual lightness. Komplot Design, founded in 1987 by Danish architect Poul Christiansen (b. 1947) and Russian-Danish designer Boris Berlin (b. 1953), is a multidisciplinary studio based in Copenhagen. Trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen for Christiansen and the Institute of Applied Arts in Leningrad for Berlin, the duo combine an experimental approach with innovative production techniques. Their portfolio, which includes the Gubi 3D chair (2003), exhibited at MoMA in 2004, reflects a bold philosophy combining functionality and aesthetics.
