This collection embodies a blend of traditional Nordic craftsmanship and contemporary design, with an emphasis on natural materials and meticulous manufacturing techniques. It includes chairs, benches and bar stools, designed to be sturdy, comfortable and versatile, suitable for a variety of spaces, from theaters to domestic interiors.

Key features

Made from lacquered or oiled solid oak, with finish options such as black, midnight blue, red or natural oak. The lines are simple and clean, with slightly curved backrests and rounded legs for visual harmony.

The signature of the collection lies in its seats, available in several variants:

Hand-woven natural linen straps, offering airy aesthetics and supple comfort. These straps, usually concealed in furniture, are here highlighted for a unique visual effect.

-Solid wood or veneer for a more classic look.

-Fabric or leather upholstery for added comfort on certain models.

The design emphasizes visual transparency thanks to the linen straps, which lend lightness to the structure while remaining sturdy. The chairs and benches are versatile: suitable for dining rooms, corridors, lounges or public spaces such as theaters or restaurants. Stackable models facilitate storage, and their light weight (e.g. 6.5 kg for the TK1 chair) makes them easy to handle.

Jakob Thau (Danish, trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts) and Sami Kallio (Finnish, trained in Gothenburg) share a passion for woodworking and craftsmanship. Their approach aims to revitalize traditional Nordic techniques while creating timeless, accessible pieces.

The TK4/TK5 benches can be used as occasional seating, as a support for objects (books, blankets) or even as a minimalist side table in a hallway, while the chairs can be integrated into both modern and classic interiors thanks to their natural materials and sober colors.
