Stig Lindberg is the author of a children's book that has become a classic in Sweden, Krakel Spektakel, while his designs on porcelain were found in every Swedish home in the 1940s and 1950s and are now sold at high prices at auction. Stig Lindberg created ceramics, designed televisions, piggy banks, painted playing cards, wrapping paper, even decorated a hotel in Baghdad, and, towards the end of his life, created surrealist textile designs, full of fantasy and poetry, which soon became classics and can be admired today in the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm.
