Nemo Lighting, founded in 1993 in Milan by Franco Cassina, is a reference for Italian design. Acquired by Federico Palazzari in 2012, Nemo offers the Masters collection, a unique selection of lamps designed by 20th century design masters such as Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. This category of Nemoโs catalog is Scandinavia Designโs main interest, because of the close aesthetic and intellectual ties maintained between Scandinavian design and these two creators.ย
Alongside these projects, Nemo is also dedicated to creating contemporary icons by collaboration with designers like Mario Bellini, Jean Nouvel, Andrea Branzi, Bernhard Osann and Arihiro Miyake.
In 2020, with the acquisition of the historic Turin lighting company Ilti Luce, a new line called Nemo Studio was born with the aim of continuing the search for innovative solutions for architectural lighting in the museum, retail and outdoor area.
Nowadays, Nemo, headquartered in Milan, has a distribution network in more than 40 countries.
