The Burra collection includes chairs and armchairs. It takes its name from "burrata", the famous creamy Italian cheese. Its design is characterized by a round, prominent seat. The characteristic curved backrest flows naturally into the armrests. Every element of Burra's design evokes comfort, evident in its full upholstery and soft, bouncy, organic curves. The result is a generous, sculptural armchair that transcends traditional furniture.
The Burra lounge chair swivels, with an optional automatic return function, to guarantee total freedom of movement and enhanced mobility.
Now available in an Outdoor version, the Burra lounge chair brings its comfort and sculptural elegance to outdoor spaces. Its base has been enhanced with waterproof painted wood, guaranteeing resistance to the elements.

Simon Legald
Simon Legald graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. He has worked on the development of numerous products from small to large scale. Legald's designs are the result of an exchange between craft and industry. In his work, he emphasizes the structure of the product, which becomes intrinsic to the design.
"Honesty is what makes a product intelligible and defines its functionality. If you understand the product, then there's no need for explanations. The very purpose of my designs is to be bought and used. So they have to meet functional needs as well as psychological and aesthetic ones. For me, simplicity is what describes the true identity of objects. In my designs, I try not to add superfluous details. All this gives the products a simple, honest expression."
