Maija Louekari's abstract work Hyräily (humming) was hand-painted with a thick brush. The striped pattern, painted with a relaxed hand, follows the rhythm of humming. According to the designer, hand painting accentuates the carefree beauty of everyday life - we don't always have to have straight lines and right angles.

This unbleached cotton panama fabric features the Hyräily pattern, which is printed in Helsinki.
50% of the cotton used in this fabric is recycled. Country of origin: Finland
