PAMPULA & ATTIKA collections

Maija Isola’s output includes an amazingly diverse range of different types of patterns. Attika, composed of color rectangles, belongs to the group of strong geometric designs. 

The Pampula (bobble) pattern is one of Maija Isola’s graphic 1950s designs. Maija’s artwork covers an amazingly wide range of motifs and design techniques. She drew inspiration from traditional folk art and modern visual art alike, from nature and her countless trips around the world.

The Toiveikas button-up shirt is made of matte silk in the Uusi Pampula pattern. The shirt has a button list in the front and a back yoke seam with a pleat. The sleeve ends feature slits and wide single-button cuffs. The straight shirt has a slim fit.

The Kirjavuus knitted pullover is made of a wool blend and it features the Uusi Pampula pattern. The sweater has a double-ribbed neckline, and wide ribbing at the sleeve ends and hemline. Parts of the sweater’s pattern is knitted with a fuzzy yarn. The straight sweater has a relaxed fit.

The Lujittaa skirt is made of cotton seersucker in the Attika pattern. The A-line skirt has side seam pockets and a concealed zipper in the back seam.

The Mieleinen dress is made of cotton seersucker in the Attika pattern. The dress has a boatneck with triangular side panels at the shoulders. The elbow-length sleeves are loose and the dress has side seam pockets and topstitched central back and front seams. The straight dress has a slim fit.
