The Ostjakki (Khanty) check pattern was originally part of a collection entitled Iso karhu (Ursa Major), which was inspired by a book depicting the life of the Finno-Ugrian peoples as well as by textiles patterned using the traditional ikat dyeing technique.
The Toiveikas button-up shirt has a back yoke seam with a pleat and wide cuffs and slit openings at the sleeve ends.

The Pysti knitted sweater in the Ostjakki pattern is made of a wool blend in a jacquard knit that uses two different kinds of yarn. The sweater has a raised ribbed neckline and loose sleeves that are dropped at the shoulders. The hemline and sleeve ends feature wide ribbing.

The Kolmikko coat in the Ostjakki pattern is padded with fluffy fibre balls and the outer fabric is made of recycled polyester. The coat has a shawl collar, puffy sleeves, and a concealed snap button closure. The detachable belt is rounded and narrow and the side seam pockets have concealed zipper closures.
