The Soft Edge chair is based on the next step in the development of moulded plywood techniques. It enables a three-dimensionality that is unusual for ordinary moulded plywood. With Soft Edge, Iskos-Berlin has created a softly shaped seat and back where all the edges face away from the body.
Both versions of Soft Edge (with steel or wooden frame) are stackable and light, which makes them suitable for any segment of the contract market – from classrooms and auditoriums to canteens and cafeterias.

ISKOS - BERLIN Design is a partnership between Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos, born in 2010 after several years of collaboration. Indeed, in 1987 Boris co-founded Komplot Design where Aleksej was employed as an assistant for over 11 years. This long and fruitful cooperation allowed them to develop a common philosophy of design: it is about telling stories. Each creation has a complex story combining elements as varied as semantics, technology, morphology, materials and functionality. Each object has its own story, some have clear and functional stories and others more surprising and poetic ones.

How to take advantage of it?
We compare our prices every day with all authorized retailers in Europe. If nevertheless you find cheaper, contact us for a counter-proposal.
