The idea behind the design of the Hee series was to make eco-friendly furniture from materials that were easy to recycle. The fact of using a single material, here metal, makes it possible both to recycle used furniture more easily and to limit the stages of transport prior to its manufacture. Aesthetically, the idea was to take an archetypal shape and simplify it as much as possible while optimizing its ergonomics and comfort.
The result is a visually very light lounge chair which, thanks to its extreme simplicity, blends easily into any interior style. The colours, neutral or fresh, make it possible to adapt it more specifically to different decorations and uses, from the dining room to the garden via the kitchen. The lounge chair is made from metal rods with a diameter of 11mm. The series offers chairs, bar stools and armchairs. Among other places, the Hee chair was chosen to equip the new Oslo Opera House and the Australian Parliament. The chair is stackable and its paint on galvanized steel resists prolonged outdoor use.
