GUBI LIGHTING

The Danish publisher Gubi earned their reputation in the world of design lighting in the early 2000’s by reissuing the historic lamps of the English Bestlite (1930’s), a brand that has become iconic since Winston Churchill adopted it. Since then, this eclecticism has been confirmed with the reissue of lighting by the Finnish Paavo Tynell (1940’s), the French Mathieu Matégot (1950’s), the American-Swedish Greta Grossman (1940-1950’s) or even the American Bill Curry (1960s). To this rich historical heritage, Gubi adds contemporary creations such as the beautiful Howard and Unbound series by Space Copenhagen.
