Swedish manufacturer Abstracta and the Wall of Art collective have collaborated to develop a unique solution that combines acoustics and art.
The aim is to create harmonious soundscapes while giving spaces personality and character through the work of exciting artists.
• Hybrid product: acoustic wall panel and framed artwork
• Effectively absorbs noise
• Gives spaces personality
• Available in different sizes
Abstracta x Wall of Art makes no compromises when it comes to art, acoustics and choice of materials.
Behind the patterns, which are printed on cotton fabric, is an effective sound absorber made from textile waste and polyester recovered from recycled PET bottles to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Combined with its well-designed oak frame, the cotton fabric helps to improve the feel and create an overall impression of elegance.
Ideal for noisy and busy environments such as restaurants, entrance halls and open-plan offices.
So, feel free to combine several art panels together, both to create a visually expressive ensemble and to further enhance the soundscape of your space.

Artiste: Annika Hultgren
It all started with a wall of pictures that was supposed to be the centrepiece of the new flat. The range of popular designs was wide, almost too wide, but personalised and affordable art prints were hard to find. Eventually, she decided to pick up a paintbrush and paint a few pictures herself. Her husband Nicklas began to wonder if other people would like to see her art on their walls, but it took time to do everything themselves in terms of production and marketing. That's when the idea for Wall of Art was born. Today, Annika runs the WallofArt.com platform and is one of the artists who sell their work exclusively through it. She creates her works based on the colours and shapes that inspire her. Annika's abstract paintings symbolise dreams, and dreams are what Wall of Art is all about.
Artiste: Lisa Wirenfelt
Lisa grew up with a mother who painted watercolours in a pale pink studio. She never thought she would enjoy holding a paintbrush, but when her mother saw one of her many sketches and said, ‘That's beautiful,’ those words probably sparked something in her. Lisa's paintings are very colour-focused. Combinations that make her feel good, words that have a deeper meaning, and patterns that simply emerge.
Behind the patterns, which are printed on cotton fabric, lies an effective sound absorber made from textile waste and polyester recovered from recycled PET bottles to ensure minimal impact on the environment.
