KORI Lamps

TAF Studio, 2023

The Kori collection, designed by TAF studio in Stockholm, offers a clever interplay of direct and indirect light. In Finnish, Kori means "basket" and refers to the intelligent central element designed to create a warm and generous atmosphere with soft, diffused light, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. The central 'basket' of the collection is the key to Kori's distinct blend of direct and indirect light, which evokes sunlight filtered through tree leaves.

With its combination of intelligent modular design and clean aesthetics, Kori is a contemporary interpretation of the modernist union of form and function.Kori's powder coating is a deep matt white that complements the quality of its light. The floor and table lamps are also available in a bright matt orange.

TAF Studio

The Swedish architects Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom have run the architecture and design studio TAF (previously TAF Architects) in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2002.

TAF Studio’s aim is to make ordinary life less ordinary through subtle but effective changes in how products and architecture appear and function.

A recurrent departure point in TAF Studio’s projects is that everyday objects by their very commonness can be made uncommon.
