Swedese was founded in Sweden in 1945 by two brothers, Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Sven Bertil Sjöqvist. The seat is Vaggeryd, in Småland, which is also a manufacturing unit, the second is located in Ang, a small village near Nässjö.
The ideal Swedese is the same today as 60 years ago: make beautiful contemporary furniture, which prologent and renew the tradition of Scandinavian design.
