Most of our products - except furniture made on oder - are in stock and can be shipped within two business days (please allow 3 to 7 business days for your order to arrive, depending of your country). If a product is not in stock, we will inform you immediately of the delivery time. If the delivery time is too long, you can decide to be refunded immediately. If you want to know the delivery time before ordering, it's very simple: just ask by email at email@example.com, our customer service will be pleased to inform you.
Prices and shipping costs
The price paid by the customer includes packaging, shipping, insurance, custom taxes and duties. There are no hidden expenses.
The offer "Cheaper Elsewhere? We refund the difference and give an additional 5% discount" only applies to regular prices and NOT special offers or sale prices.
We offer free shipping for orders exceeding 150 EUR within the EU.
For heavy or oversize packages (such as String shelving system), an extra shipping fee may be requested by the customer service before confirming the order.
Deterioration during transport
It is very important to verify the state of the packaging as well as the packaged goods before signing the delivery note. When in doubt, open and carefully inspect the products before signing. The only way to be covered by the insurance and consequently reimbursed is to state precise observations on the delivery note.
Returns & Exchanges
Scandinavia design’s customers can return or exchange products within 14 days after delivery. Shipping expenses for the return of goods are to be paid by the customer. Refunds for returned merchandise will be made within two week of the return of the product, to the original purchaser's credit card. Note that additional duties and/or taxes will not be refunded. Neither will shipping costs.
This returns policy does NOT extend to products made on order or products which have been altered according to the customer’s wishes.
The customer can return an item if:
1.The item has not been used
2.The item is in the condition that the customer received it in and all parts of the product are included in the package
3.The item has been repackaged into its original packaging or an equivalent packaging. It must still have its original labels on if not refund cannot be made.
If an item is returned or exchanged the responsibility and risk of damage lies with the customer. A damaged item will not be accepted as a return or exchanged if it cannot be established that the item was damaged during the first shipment.
All items are sent with a tracking number that the customer receives by email.
