Fabrics by pattern
Besides the quality (freshness and color density, durability), one of the great advantages of screen printing, used by Marimekko for all of its fabrics, is to enable the realization of very large scale patterns, inconceivable with the usual printing roller technique.
For example, Kevätjuhla designed by Miina Äkkijyrkkä measure 2.65 m high; Vappukukka, by Rinne Niinikoski, about 2.15 m. Stretched on a frame, or simply hung on sticks, they compose large paintings of contemporary art.
You will find below works by Maija Louekari, Teresa Moorhouse, Aino-Maija Metsola, Rinne Niinikoski and Miina Äkkijyrkkä. Barring accidents, we have them in stock and can deliver within two days. If other Marimekko patterns interest you, please contact us.
